We aim to provide airlines with a steady supply of suitably qualified and experienced pilots making their recruitment process simpler. We will also manage the pilots on contract to ensure they are content at their place of work to try gain maximum utilisation from the pilots. Due to headhunting of pilots from other airlines or pilots looking for better opportunities at other companies, AV8A works with both pilots and flight departments to plan for these events in order to minimise disruptions to flight schedules of the applicable flight department. By being pre-emptive in our planning and management, we will make sure we are aware of any impending moves by pilots and ensure that a replacement pilot is ready to reduce any disruptions caused by pilots moving on to other contracts. By working closely with the airlines and establishing personal relationships with our pilots, AV8A will offer a superior quality of service to both parties
Accelerated Command Program - With the increasing shortage of suitably qualified and experienced Captains affecting pilot recruitment for flight departments from around the world, AV8A
Pilot Placement Solutions has in consultation with our partner airlines, developed a Command Upgrade Program whereby suitably experienced first officers are assisted and trained to captain grade.
These candidates are pre-screened to ensure they are suitable for the upgrade program as well as selected by the potential Airlines. There are currently a vast number of highly experienced and
capable first officers and through this program, we are able to provide a further stream of employable candidates for the position as captain to flight departments. The benefits of these programs
are that the upgrade program is tailored to meet both regulatory requirements and the airline training methodology thereby providing the airline with a captain who is fully qualified, capable and
suitable for a quicker deployment into the airline.
Accelerated Airline Entry Program - We are able to provide training for newly selected pilots that assists the
airline in reducing the time needed to deploy the pilot on line. This is conducted through our training organisation and is tailored for individual airline needs. We have access to flight
instructors with many years of airline operations and airline flight training experience who are able to evaluate and assist in structuring these programs to expedite the process of getting
candidates on line.
Flight Crew Succession Program - As demand for skilled crew increases due to fleet renewal and fleet expansion, pilots are able to choose better
opportunities and move from one contract to take advantage of better working conditions, better remuneration or simply a move onto a better aircraft. This has the potential to cause flight
operations delays and sometimes entails aircraft sitting on the ground without pilots to fly them. Certain airlines become feeders for the major airlines and for these affected airlines we are
able to provide crews that are part of a structured succession plan. Through providing our crews with a short to long term career plan, we are able to plan movement of the crews and cater for
replacement crew for the airline with significantly less disruption than is experienced in the industry at present.
Airline Specific Simulator Training - We have access
to various simulators and current airline instructors for training on the A319/A340/B737-800. We are able to provide assistance with instruction and simulators to airlines whose training
departments are experiencing capacity shortages. We can structure training to suit individual needs and can train to specific airline standard operating procedures, thus ensuring continuity in the training system.
Contract Crew Management Program - We can assist airlines with management of their contract crews and are able to be directly involved or assist airlines. We have consultants
with years of experience in the airline industry that have had direct management roles in managing crews and fleets. We use a vast array of skilled professionals to provide and manage systems to
ensure the efficient and productive use of crews, ranging from pre-screening to selection to daily utilisation of the crews.
AV8A Pilot Placement Solutions has established an affiliation with a training organisation in order to provide a higher level of service to our pilots and clients.
Due to the
growing demand from airlines for pilots with type ratings, especially A320 and B737NG, the resources available for conducting type rating training will continue to be under pressure. We have
therefore teamed up with a training organisation in order to provide A320, B737NG and A340 type ratings.
Further to this, our training affiliate is able to provide training from
an ab-initio level up to airline standard multi-crew licenses. They provide training solutions to various airlines from around the world and their organisation has current airline pilots in the
management and instruction roles. By having qualified and current airline pilots involved, their level of training is continually refined to meet the changing trends in the airline environment
therefore ensuring that candidates are trained to current standards and are airline ready on completion of their training program.
Through our consultation process, we are able to assist airlines with their ad hoc training needs as well as assist with additional training for their candidate selection process. For any queries regarding our Training Solutions, please contact us at info@av8a.com
